Math 6th Grade
iPhone Planning
Here is my Math Box Grid Project. In this assignment, students were assigned to make a box to hold our math cards with the help of a grid. On the back of the back of the grid, we were to write the title of the creation, find the volume, surface area, the cost of the box if each 1 cm², the dimension of math cards and science card and a reflection of this project; for example, the difficulties that we experienced and/or what we thought about the project.
I chose this assignment because in this project, we get to let our imaginations to run wild to create a box for math/science cards. Also, in this project, I designed the box in a iPhone based design.
In this assignment, I learned how to find surface area, and volume. I also learned that for something to be successful, you need to first make an outline of how it should turn out in the future or an outline of what it should go through.
