Here is the Science Helicopter Experiment. In this experiment, we are assigned to find out what would happen to the way of how the helicopter falls if we attached paper clips onto the paper airplane, We then were to write/type a lab report on the experiment. As you can see above, we were to include the Background Information, Research Question, Hypothesis that our team made, Materials needed to perform this experiment, Procedure of how to set up and perform the experiment, Data/Results, and a Conclusion paragraph to summarize, refer the results back to the hypothesis and the Dependent Variables/Independent Variables and Limitations.
I chose to include this project in this Science Portfolio because this experiment was one of the most funnest projects. The paper airplanes was a really cool sight to see for me. And I thought it was a genius idea to make a fun science lesson by including a paper airplane to teach about how the more mass an object has, the less air resistance it contains.
In this assignment, I learned that the more mass an object carries, the less air resistance it will have. According to this experiment, the more paper clips that was attached to the paper airplane, the less air resistance it had/ the more faster the paper plane flew down.
